To provide students with exposure to a range of addiction medicine issues, including detoxification strategies from major classes of addicting substances, as well as exposure to treatment from an inpatient and outpatient perspective.
To develop a knowledge of psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacologic approaches to contemporary treatment of addiction.

Students will be assigned to Dr. Shein.
Students will have experiences in both inpatient and outpatient settings and in the residential program at Interval Brotherhood Home.
