Addiction Medicine
Objectives:
- To provide students with exposure to a range of addiction medicine issues, including detoxification strategies from major classes of addicting substances, as well as exposure to treatment from an inpatient and outpatient perspective.
- To develop a knowledge of psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacologic approaches to contemporary treatment of addiction.
Description:
- Students will be assigned to Dr. Shein.
- Students will have experiences in both inpatient and outpatient settings and in the residential program at Interval Brotherhood Home.
