We feel interns should receive thorough preparation and support. That’s why we instituted an orientation month at the beginning of the intern year – and a month of review in June to prepare interns for their role as second year residents.
A typical orientation schedule in the first month would be:
Monday – Friday, 9:00 – 9:15 a.m. on L & D (brief high-yield points presented by the OB chief, triage doc and other available chiefs)
