How To Apply
Based on APGO and CREOG Guidelines, application dates for the 2025 Summa OBGYN Residency Interview Season are as follows:
- Application submission - September 24, 2025. Please note that only residency applications submitted through ResidencyCAS will be considered.
- Interview invitation release dates: October 28, 2025 (rolling offers following)
- Summa OBGYN interviews will begin November 7, 2025 and conclude December 19, 2025
- ALL interviews will be conducted in a virtual format via ResidencyCAS

OB/GYN Program Application Requirements:
US Medical School Application Requirements:
- Completed USMLE Steps 1 & 2 or COMLEX Level 1 & 2, no exam failures
- D.O.'s are not required to take the USMLE
- Minimum passing scores: USMLE= 230 & COMLEX = 575
- 4th year elective rotation with our program is not a requirement
- Minimum of 3 letters of recommendation (one SLOE is recommended based on APGO and CREOG guidelines)
International Medical Graduate Application Requirements:
- USMLE 1 & 2 minimum pass score of 230, no exam failures
- J1 Visas only
- Maximum length of time since graduation - 3 years
- ECFMG Certification required
- US clinical experience is not a requirement
- A roster of current residents that includes where they attended medical school can be viewed here
