Jeffrey JunkoI can unequivocally say that Summa Health’s orthopedic residency program is the best in the country for training orthopedic surgeons but I am heavily biased.  First I am a graduate of the program and second I am also the Program Director.  Summa’s program prepared me for a career in orthopedic surgery with an experience second to none.  Having spent time at 2 major university programs for my fellowship, I can say with confidence that the hands-on education at Summa is what sets us apart.  From day one you will be challenged to be the best surgeon you can be in an atmosphere that encourages teamwork and improvement.  One aspect of training at Summa that has never changed is the goal of putting the patient first in all that we do.  When we put the patient first it focuses us to study and train harder in order to provide the highest quality care that we can.  If you want to train in a collegiate atmosphere that will respect you as an individual and will push you to be all that you can be,  then Summa Health is the program for you.
