The curriculum is composed of intern boot camp, semi-annual guest lecturers, several annual specialty wet labs, eight cadaver anatomy labs and a one hour morning conference each day. These morning conferences include monthly orthopedic tumor, trauma and spine conferences as well as new lectures on topics from all specialties each month. The majority of lectures are given by teaching faculty with approximately 15% organized by residents.
All residents receive a full subscription to the OrthoBullets PASS System, providing access to all of their educational content including quizzes, exams, lectures, webinars and surgical videos.  We utilize the full system for resident feedback on rotations and their surgical skills.
Extensive Self-Made Surgical Video Library. Residents have exclusive access to our surgical video library of more than 145 resident made videos of physical exams, approaches, surgical techniques and procedures. These are an invaluable resource in case preparation and highlight surgeon specific preferences.
In 2017, we implemented a full curriculum for our new VirtaMed Arthroscopic Simulator to increase residents' arthroscopic skills.
