Summa Health Surgical Services strives to provide a strong continuum of care, from diagnosing the need for surgery through the day of the operation and post-operative care. Performing some 28,000 surgeries each year, our board-certified surgeons combine years of experience with innovative techniques. By applying the latest technology to medicine, we have made critical advances by greatly expanded treatment options, including using minimally invasive techniques such as robotic-assisted surgery.
In fact, Healthgrades – a national organization that evaluates hospitals based on patient outcomes and quality measures – ranked Summa Health among the top five in Ohio for surgical care, a recognition that reflects excellent outcomes and a high standard of care for patients.
