Therapeutic Exercise Programs
Summa Health Wellness Center is proud to offer the following therapeutic exercise programs under the direction of degreed and certified fitness specialists.
Parkinson's Exercise Program
Ideal for those individuals diagnosed with Parkinson's or other neuro cognitive disorders. This 8-week small group program will improve strength, balance, posture and quality of life through exercise.
Previous participants have seen improvement in strength, flexibility and daily movement, as well as increased confidence.
The program includes:
- Pre- and post-assessment
- Two 60-minute sessions per week for 8 weeks
- Individualized exercise programs
- BONUS 45-minute weekly maintenance class

Fall Prevention
According to the CDC, falls are the leading cause of injury for adults 65 years and older. Our comprehensive fall prevention program utilizes the four pillars of exercise –balance, flexibility, mobility and stability – to help increase athleticism and prevent age associated falls.
This program includes:
- Pre- and post-assessments
- Two 60-minute sessions per week for 8 weeks
- Individualized at-home exercise programming, including risk assessment
Fee | $249*
*Not intended for individuals labeled as a high fall risk. Participants must be able to walk and stand for 60 minutes, rise from and sit down to a seated position and navigate stairs without assistance.
Pre-Natal/Postpartum Exercise
While exercise during pregnancy offers numerous health benefits for the mother and baby, it is important to know what to do and what to avoid. Our training specialist will guide you through a personalized program to help you safely maintain your physical activity levels throughout your pregnancy.
- Package #1: Movement screen/assessment with program delivery. Fee: $99
- Package #2: Movement screen/assessment and 3 60-minute training sessions.
