Maggie Denk Leigh is an Associate Professor and Division Chair for Visual Arts and Crafts at the Cleveland Institute of Art, where she has been a central member of the Printmaking program since 1999. She teaches lithography, etching, screenprinting, relief, and digital media, and also oversees the institute’s letterpress studio for book arts.
She is a founding board member and currently serves as Board President of the Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory and Educational Foundation, a nationally recognized center for hand papermaking and book arts in Cleveland, Ohio.
As a practicing artist, she explores anthropological associations through printed and sculptural works, often considering how material, pattern, and repetition shape human experience. She received her BA from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, and her MFA in Printmaking from Clemson University in South Carolina.

Her Florets for You series, featured in the Ink and Inspiration exhibition as part of the Rubber City Prints opportunity at the Summa Gallery, reflects her ongoing commitment to craft, color, and the restorative power of visual art within community spaces.
