Jennifer Eslinger, MBA, FACHE

President and CEO

Jennifer Eslinger is President and CEO for Summa Health. In this role, Jennifer provides executive leadership across all aspects of the health system, with accountability for clinical operations, financial performance, strategy and community partnership.
 
Prior to joining Summa, Jennifer served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Rochester Regional Health, a $4.2 billion fully integrated system in Rochester, New York, where she led operations across nine hospitals, five skilled nursing facilities, home care and hospice, and an extensive ambulatory enterprise. During her tenure, she effected a two-year financial turnaround valued at more than $350 million and drove significant growth through mergers and acquisitions, technology investments, and payor partnerships.
 
Before Rochester, Jennifer served as President of Henry Ford Wyandotte and the Downriver Market at Henry Ford Health System, where she successfully executed a $60 million turnaround in under three years. Her career also includes executive leadership roles at Infirmary Health System, HCA, Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth, and Tenet Healthcare — spanning for-profit, nonprofit, and academic medical center environments across the country.
 
Jennifer holds a Master of Business Administration from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. She is a Board Certified Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and a Fellow of the Malcolm Baldrige Performance Excellence Program. She currently serves on the American Hospital Association's Regional Policy Board and several regional community and economic development boards.
