Dean Frate, M.D. is a physician advisor and hospitalist Board certified in Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Dr. Frate completed his medical education at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine followed by an internal medicine residency and hospice and palliative medicine fellowship at Summa Health System. He serves as the Vice Chair of the Quality and Safety Committee of the Summa Health System Board of Directors.

Adrian Dan, M.D. is a metabolic and bariatric surgeon who has practiced in Akron since 2006 and currently serves as the Program Director of the Advanced GI MIS Foregut and Bariatric Surgery Fellowship Program and as Medical Director of the Weight Management Institute. Dr. Dan completed medical school at Northeast Ohio Medical University, a general surgery residency at Michigan State University, and a fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopy and Bariatric Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. His interest in minimally invasive procedures allowed him to become one of the early adopters of robotic surgical technology in 2010 and in 2022, he performed the first robotic single anastomosis duodenoileostomy in Ohio.

Kevin Silver, M.D., is an interventional cardiologist who specializes in the treatment of complex coronary artery disease, including Acute Myocardial Infarction (STEMI & NSTEMI), Chronic Total Occlusion Coronary Interventional, and Stem Cell Therapy. He is a an associate director of the Summa Health Cardiology Fellowship Program, as well as the director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory, director of the coronary care unit, and chair of the coronary heart disease quality committee for the Summa Health Cardiovascular Institute. Dr. Silver received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons and has been in practice for more than 20 years.
