The Simulation program at Summa Health is dedicated to high quality medical education/medical simulation research. Our research pursuits range from neonatal/obstetrical care to geriatric care. We have published studies that encompass individual performance as well as interprofessional team training. We also provide expertise and mentorship to outside investigators for the completion of medical education/simulation projects. Each fellow is expected to design and implement at minimum one cutting edge research project for publication. Our program routinely presents at regional, state, and national presentations including at SSIH – Society for Simulation in Healthcare, and has developed a reputation for excellence in simulation research.
