2022 – 2023 Residents

Tiffany Chan  Tiffany Chan is a current PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at Summa Health System – Akron Campus. She obtained her PharmD and BSPS from The University of Toledo. Tiffany enjoys reading, exploring new restaurants, and occasionally long boarding. Her areas of interest are oncology and internal medicine. After residency completion, Tiffany would like to work as a clinical specialist in an academic medical center and serve as a faculty member in a college of pharmacy. Kaitlin Fair  Kaitlin Fair is a current PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at Summa Health System – Akron Campus. She obtained her PharmD from Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). In her free time Katie enjoys playing basketball, being outdoors, and trying new coffee shops. Her areas of interest include psychiatric pharmacy, internal medicine, and transitions of care. After residency completion, Katie would like to work as a clinical specialist at a teaching hospital where she can serve as a preceptor. Katie can be reached at fairka@summahealth.org.
   
 Sarah Opperman Sarah Opperman is a current PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at Summa Health System – Akron Campus. She obtained her PharmD from Butler University. Sarah enjoys hiking, visiting National Parks, spending time with friends and family, and exploring local restaurants. She is primarily interested in ambulatory care. After residency completion, Sarah would like to work as a clinical pharmacy specialist in the outpatient primary care settings while precepting pharmacy students and residents.  Zach Herrington Zach Herrington is a current PGY2 Ambulatory Care Resident at Summa Health System – Akron Campus. He obtained his PharmD from Northeast Ohio Medical University and completed his PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Aultman Hospital in Canton, OH. Zach enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, and watching the Steelers. His areas of interest are primary care, transitions of care, and academia. After residency completion, Zach would like to work as an ambulatory care pharmacy specialist. Zach can be reached at herringtonz@summahealth.org.
   
 Connor Rowan  Connor Rowan is a current PGY2 Pain Management and Palliative Care Pharmacy Resident at Summa Health System – Akron Campus. He obtained his PharmD from Ohio Northern University and completed his PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency at West Virginia University School of Pharmacy. Connor enjoys going to concerts and watching movies. His areas of interest are palliative care, psychiatric pharmacy, and ambulatory care. After completing his residency, Connor would like to enter palliative care in an outpatient setting and serve as a preceptor of pharmacy students.
