Great Lakes Honda raised $10,000 for the second consecutive year, donating a portion of the proceeds of every car sold in October.
Owner Joey Huang said, “Last year’s fundraiser was so successful. It was an easy decision to continue the fight against breast cancer.”
For Joey, the cause hits close to home. His mother’s sister died of the disease at a very young age. “Everyone is touched in some way by breast cancer. We’re happy to do whatever we can to help our customers, employees, community and family members affected by this disease, right here in Northeast Ohio.”
For these reasons, Joey chose again in 2020 to donate the proceeds to Summa Health’s Dr. Gary B. and Pamela S. Williams Center for Breast Health because he wanted to give back locally.
“It’s nice knowing we’re helping our neighbors.” Joey is already planning for next year’s drive and looks forward to growing this donation for many years to come.
